Self-Punishment

We all do it, some more than others, some less than others, some not at all and become numb to the fact that something they did caused others, such extreme pain. To carry a burden of in your mind extreme pain that you caused, and left such destruction to everyone you love, when you even feel you destroyed your bond with the creator himself. Just one error in judgement and you make a mistake that rips the very fabric of all you have done in your life to that point, cause others to see you in a different light than they saw you in before. When you lose your hero status in everyone around you, and you fail the creator of the world. How long should you punish yourself for such a crime to others? Well, the answer should be, give it to Jesus immediately and seek forgiveness of others. Although this is not what I did, instead I punished myself for twenty years for this, and this is why, I carved a path of destruction throughout those years, to myself and to others. This is because sin is not meant to be carried by us as his creation, for us to carry this is a death sentence, eventually kills us physicality and mentally, period. It's wrong to judge even yourself and to do this you cause pain not only to self also others. Because you didn't even give the creator a chance to defend you in your court case with yourself you found yourself Quilty of all crimes and gave yourself a death sentence as punishment. You see we all fail him every single day of our lives, so if the wage of sin is death, then the only way is through the cross, through the life, death, and resurrection, of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. We have to lay this down at the foot of the cross, he can cleanse you of all and make you as white as snow in the sight of God. There is no failure if given, too great for God to turn into victory and glory and honor to him. When your heart is truly his to begin with and we accept this gift instead of choosing death and choosing life. We are given a new creature in Christ and shed the old one inside we are born again in his sight.

IN Closing

I would just like to say, don't let it take you twenty years for you to give this to the creator, no matter what your own judgement is saying, and give it to him and let it go. No matter what you have done lay it at the foot of the cross. And always remember, I love you no matter what.
