Flee into Egypt

In Matthew chapter 2 verse number 13 now when they had departed, behold an angel of the Lord appearing to Joseph in a dream saying take the young child and his mother flea into Egypt and stay there until I bring you word for Harrod, we’ll see the young child to destroy him.

There comes times in our lives when are doing God‘s work that we have to literally need to flee into Egypt “metaphorically”, it’s not that we are not being good soldiers by fleeing. It’s that we are honoring our Lord and Savior and his commands just as God had his reasons for sending Jesus into Egypt so that he would be protected he does this with us as well. There could be various reasons why he asked us to do this not because we are anything like Jesus, but because we are God‘s children, he protects us. He guides us. He directs us just as we nurture our own children, and guide them as they grow he does the same thing with us as we go through our seasons sometimes those seasons can be very dangerous and he needs to protect us from that danger. Anytime that you are a full gospel minister. You have put yourself in danger you’ll be mocked and spit on and hated just as Jesus was laughed at ridiculed if you’re the son of God, how come you don’t save yourself just as the thief said to him on the cross, because this is not what Jesus mission was while he was here on earth His mission was to teach us to serve others as we serve our God, and then to die for us on the cross to take the whip for our transgressions, and to show us the way home. So yes, if our Lord and Savior needed to hide in Egypt for a time, who’s to say that we don’t have haters that would like to kill us not the reason why we do what we do because we do this, knowing that that could be the sacrifice, when we choose ministry, it’s not just standing behind a pulpit preaching the word of God. It’s getting involved taking care of people caring for others. Praying for them being under attack because we are prayer warriors it’s all part of the sacrifice. It’s just that sometimes our end is not ready yet. Our story hasn’t ended so we need protection until the story can be finished. Because always God’s plan will prevail.

The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for us. Why can we not learn to give ourselves to him sacrificially we belong to him through his leadership and guidance we can climb many mountains only through him.
